A Finish and a Giveaway!!

Hi everyone!

Before we get to the fun stuff, let me show you my FINISH of Be Joyful Always by Imaginating.  This was SUCH a fun stitch for me.  16 count lite natural aida with DMC.  Thoroughly a joy to work with, especially because I loved the colors in the picture.  Here it is in all its wrinkledness...

Now onto the fun stuff!!!

I have a Labor Day giveaway!!

Meet Jingle, an artist bear by my daughter...

Here's her birth info...

Birthday:  July 30th, 2013
- Smokey Long Pile peach fur fabric
- Ultrasuede footpads
- Black Onyx bead eyes
- Polyester stuffing and steel shot for weight

Jingle has a few more stitches showing than Butternut - from the post below - although the only one I can see is on her behind... so it's not very noticable! : )  Please remember... this is not a toy!  These are artist bears that are about 3" high when seated.  Wonderful little friends, but NOT for little people!!

Jingle with Acorn
If Acorn will let Jingle go, this is what the giveaway will consist of...

But if you don't win, and would like a bear of your own, be sure to contact me.  DD is selling them for only $25.00 plus shipping and they are SO sweet!!

Be sure to leave a comment mentioning that you'd like to be included in the giveaway, and if you post about the giveaway on your blog or Facebook page you get an extra entry!!

I'll draw a winner September 15th and announce it Monday, the 16th.

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Tricia

I love your finish - beautiful! The leaves going up the right had side are my favourite part I think, such pretty colours.

Both little bears are gorgeous! I would love the chance to win Jingle.
Good luck to everyone who enters :)

Oh, Tricia!! Jingle is so cute!!! And your cross stitch is beautiful! It has been years since I cross stitched...but none of mine were as nice as yours!

Counted cross-stitch and I never got along...but I used to collect bears! Acorn doesn't look like he wants Jingle to leave...I can't believe they are so tiny...

If I won I would change the name to something that starts with a "K"...fancy that idea...

both are adorable... and this is a rough month for Acorn, having to part with two friends?! He may need some extra lovin' to get through (((hugs)))

Oh. My. Goodness! DD is so talented!!! Jingle is PRECIOUS! And that cross-stitch is gorgeous, woman! Do you have a light that you use when you stitch? I'd like to stitch at night when the kids are in bed, but we turn the lights down so they don't think we're up doing anything exciting. ;)

Love your cross stitch work - I haven't cross stitched in a long long time - but now that I got my eyes fixed I think I have a couple of projects to finish. Beautiful work you have done and love the fall scene. What darling bears - who wouldn't love to have one sitting on their craft room shelf or in their curio - I know I sure would. Your daughter must have a very creative mind.

Oh my, Oh my, Oh my I have always wanted one of these little handmade bears and been admiring Acorn for a while. I love bears that have expression and little Jingle is just the cutest. I would love the chance to give her a new home if Acorn will let her go. I would provide her with a loving home here in Australia and she can tell Acorn all about the sunshine and heat in Summer, hehe.
Love your Autumn finish, its soo pretty.

Hi, I am a new follower of your blog. I saw your giveaway on Debbie's blog so thought I'd pop over and keep my fingers crossed that I am not too late to enter.... Jingle is sooo cute. Your daughter is very talented. I think Jingle would adore coming to visit Australia, and I would be very happy to offer him a new home Down Under :) The Lizzie Kate design is lovely - I think it would be a lovely quick stitch to do :) I would love to add this giveaway onto my blog, but I fear that as today is the 15th I might be too late....
Now before I go, I have to say I love your latest finish :) it is really gorgeous :)
If I am too late to enter the giveaway I have found a lovely new blog to follow so all is not lost :)
