Month: July 2015
Spent: $0
Earned: $0
Budget forward: $25.00
It's month one of the second half Stitch from Stash and I have a wonderful spending report of ZERO but not very much to show on the stitching front! With my husband's brain surgery last month and then his recovery time, I haven't really been able to calm my mind often enough to sit and stitch. Now that he is back to work for a few hours a day, though, I have great hopes that stitching will be in my future... if I can tear myself away from the silly 2048 puzzle game that my son got both my husband and I hooked on! :)
For the few minutes I HAVE stitched I've worked on the Lizzie Kate Marriage ABC's - 25 ct over 1 with all different threads...
and I started a kit I had in my stash that I just love and it is on 14 ct aida, which is easier for me to concentrate on right now.
So there you have it! Hopefully I'll have more to show for my time next month.
Happy stitching everyone!

What nice patterns to work on. You two are in my prayers.♥ I am glad to hear from you.
Congrats on the zero spend month! Quite understandable that you haven't had much stitchy time. I love the two you're working on, especially the Lizzie Kate. I'm going to my LNS this weekend; I may have to buy that chart.
Love the charts your working on.

Good job on not spending and nice progress :)
I have that Lizzy Kate in my stash to do. I like the idea of stitching it over one….hummmm might have to look at that.
Congrets on your sfs
Love your little bird
Hope your husband is soon fully recovered so you can relax a bit more :)
Love your new start looks a lovely design.
Great little update ;)
Love the LK one best!
Nice new start and the LK is looking lovely.
Glad to hear your husband's health is improving. Those stitches are cute!
Well done on your zero spend. I was bad I'm afraid. I really need to curb it! Lol!
Glad to hear your DH is improving. Hope you are doing well too.
Lovely WIPs. Love your LK.
When I've got a high count or over one project on the go I like to have something in the more "normal" range to work on to balance things out.
Lovely update! I also have a over one project & also have some 14ct projects to be able to rotate them. Gives our eyes a rest in between.
Fantastic to hear your DH is improving!!! WOOHOO!!! Great news!
love Annette
Ohhh, I love your new start. Such a nice design.
Great that you had a successful non-buying month.
I am new to your blog but reading your last two posts had me in tears over the awesome God we have! So happy to hear your husband is back to work, even if for a few hours, and you are finding a little time to stitch. That new autumn kit with the birdies is absolutely gorgeous! Hope you find the peace of mind to keep stitching!
